Oulu-opisto is a liberal education institution owned and run by the City of Oulu, offering hobby and study opportunities for people of all ages irrespective of their place of residence. Oulu-opisto provides opportunities to learn and have experiences at different stages of life. The core values of the institution are boldness, fairness, responsibility and well-being, and they are based on the values of the City of Oulu. Oulu-opisto is the fourth largest adult education institution in Finland.
